Slowly Bouncing Back.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

It wasn’t too long after posting last night’s blog that both Kathy and I were in bed trying to shake off whatever it is we have. Even after taking what we safely could in order to get rid of it we both had problems. Because we both have Sleep Apnea we each have our own machine that helps to keep us breathing when we sleep. Unfortunately because our throats were full of congestive drainage the machines caused us to cough more often in our sleep thus keeping us awake most of the night. It was a post travel night but with the colds we were fighting you couldn’t tell the difference from a pretravel night.

Once we finally had breakfast neither of us were ready to start running around even with chores already planned. We settled in at the computers where we did our morning reading before Kathy started adding our expenditures onto her spreadsheet. I made the bed before starting to sort through the laundry. Yes that nasty word that everybody needs to do periodically and since it was two weeks since I had last done laundry it was past time. I was nearly ready to head out when Kathy served up Chicken Noodle Soup for our lunch. The warmth helped soothe the rough feeling in our throats.

Getting downstairs to do the laundry at noon hour was not a practical idea because I now had to use what few machines were available. It wasn’t until I had everything into the dryers that I was able to go back to the apartment for a short break. Kathy had just finished passing the vacuum and opened the windows to let in some fresh air. The outside temperature actually got to the low 80s today but with the light breeze it felt like the upper 60s.

After I returned with the folded clothes we busied ourselves first by putting it all away before returning to the computers. We spent more time talking than actually accomplishing anything on the computers themselves. For supper I grilled a couple of Hamburgers that would be easier on our throats to go with the salads and Perogies that Kathy got ready on the stove.
Looking out past our parking lot tonight.
Tomorrow Kathy has an early appointment so here’s hoping we have a better night tonight. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
