Another Busy Day.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Christmas is only 18 days away and our temperatures are starting to be reflective of the coming change in season. This morning I was up before the sun and planned on being up way past the 9 hours and 12 minutes of daylight we’ll receive today. By lunchtime the sun became hidden behind a heavy blanket of clouds again which means we are lucky to see it for a couple of hours a day.

The daytime high for today is supposed to be warmer than yesterday with slightly warmer temps for the weekend. Watching the graphs on the Weather Channel the highs are like a stone skipping its way across the water bouncing up and down to start then leveling off before sinking below the freezing point.

After reading all the blogs we follow we had some relaxation time watching yet another Christmas Special on television this morning. This afternoon Kathy had to go back to see her Podiatrist. Even after having the toenail removed on her left foot 7 months ago the new nail continues to grow in such a way as to cause her lots of discomfort. The doctor had to remove part of the new nail because of its malformation. This could happen again until the nail has totally reached its full length.
Christmas Duet
By the time we returned to the apartment we were nearly in the dark. Not because of the time of day but because the power was off throughout the town of Tecumseh. When we walked through the lobby there were lots of people some in wheelchairs waiting for the elevator power to come back on. We were home well over an hour before it was turned back on.

Tonight we attended our granddaughter Kylla’s highschool Christmas dinner fundraiser and all the work is done by the students. While the dinner is being served the students entertain the guest with songs and dances that are very well choreographed. Last year I had taken a video of Kylla’s performance. The problem was I had never done it before and set the camera to record on portrait instead of landscape. Try as much as I could it was impossible for me to correct the mistake I made on the computer. There is a local service that said they could fix it but I could have bought a new camera for the price. This year I did it the right way and will be able to post the video soon. Tonight I think I'm coming down with a bug.
