Making Progress At Emptying The Trailer With Winter Weather.

Our Location today is at Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

We are finding this very strange that we are sleeping soundly the entire night in our daughter’s basement but still finding ourselves to be tired throughout the day. Then again, we may know the answer to that question, all the Fresh Air we are breathing.
At least these Cloudy Days in Quartzsite were warm.
We slept past 8:00 this morning and could hear some movement from upstairs. It didn’t take us long to get dressed and to head up to the Dining Room where our daughter Karen was getting ready for a road trip to London. Unlike the US Medical System not all services are readily available throughout our province. Greg took the day off work to drive Karen to London to have her shoulder Scoped. I needed more information from them so that I could do them the favour of picking up Tyler at his School Co-op and bring him to his After-School Job. It’s the least we can do at this time.

They were on their way shortly after 9:00 with our wishes of a Safe Trip. We finished our breakfast and after a quick check of The Weather Network were on our way back to the Trailer at Guardian Storage.

Today’s high would later reach 37 F (3 C) and we’d use our Blue Flame Heater in order to keep warm enough to pack things away. We used a combination of Medium Boxes to pack Cookware from the Kitchen and Small Boxes to pack Food Stocks from our Pantry.

We finally took a break to have a lite lunch at Taco Bell only ordering a Crunch-Wrap and a Drink. Back at the Trailer we managed to deliver things to both the Climate Controlled Storage Unit as well as the regular Storage Unit before the forecasted Rain began.

It was perfect timing when we closed up for the day and stopped over to pick Tyler up before going back to the House This let him get cleaned up and allowed us to transfer things to the Freezer Space that Karen had set aside for us the other day.

Driving Tyler to his After-School Job and dealing with the Rush Hour Traffic made us even more grateful that we are Retired and don’t have to deal with it on a daily basis.

We had Roast Pork Sandwiches for supper along with a Date Square for dessert.

Karen and Greg arrived home shortly after 6:00 and were glad to be home. They’ll know the results of the tests in another Two Weeks.

There are forecasted SXXw Flurries overnight but as long as we can work about Four Hours a Day we should be finished emptying the Trailer of all Personal Possessions by the Weekend. It would have been nice if the temperatures were warmer. Thanks for following along, feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

File Pictures used tonight
held similar weather that
we experienced today.

  1. Nice that you were able to help out by picking up Tyler and taking him to his job. Glad you're getting your things packed away and are able to stay warm while doing it. Hoping it all goes as planned.
