Our Location today is Sugar Loaf Key, Florida, USA.
After tossing only a few times last night I was up before
7:30 this morning. Wanting to give Kathy time to sleep longer I went online to
start my morning reading thus giving her some peace and quiet. I had no sooner
sat down in the rear bedroom when it sounded like a tire blew on someone’s RV
loud enough that suddenly all kinds of people were outside screaming. Kathy’s
extra sleep was cut very short.
As soon as we finished breakfast we headed out the door so
we could travel up the road to the Big Pine Key Flea Market (MM 33). Surprisingly
there were more vehicles and people there than last Sunday but we did note that
there were less vendors than last year when we came during the month of March.

Our intention was to purchase additional LED light fixtures
like the ones I’d purchased last Sunday for the trailer. Unfortunately someone
else must have thought the same way I did and by the time I got to the vendor
there were only two lamp fixtures left. I did however pick up an exterior
exhaust vent at less than a fifth the cost that Camping World sells them for.
Our trailer presently does not have externally exhaust and that causes a
problem when cooking inside constantly sets off the smoke alarm. Kathy looked
at all the clothing vendors in hopes of finding a swimsuit cover up that suited
her tastes but was unsuccessful.
By 10:00 we were on our way to the nearby Winn Dixie to just replace the few things that we’d used up
since last week. Walking inside the Air-Conditioned store helps Kathy get some
walking exercise in a cooler cleaner environment which is better for her
breathing.
Even though we’d taken our time we were still home shortly
after 11:00 so this gave us time to get a few chores done before having our
lunch. Once the dishes were finished Kathy took a Snap to make up for her early
morning awakening while I filled our medical Daucets early because we’ll be busy
tonight having supper with our friends Karen and Al. We also managed to spend a
bit of time reading the blogs we hadn’t read this morning.

We’ll try to get together again with Karen and Al before we
leave the Keys in 10 days. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a
comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

Wanda:
Daryl, do you think you could sell some school gift wrap at work?
Daryl
(her husband): I could… but my boss would hate it, and my
co-workers might be uncomfortable. (Uncomfortable silence)
Daryl:
But not as uncomfortable as I'll be if I don't try.
Wanda:
Public education owes you one.

nice to enjoy the warm weather some more before heading home.
ReplyDeleteSorry, we kept you out so late! KOA has a nice venue for music, so we'll probably go back there often. It was an enjoyable night.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to spend some time with Karen and Al... we read their blog too!
