Appointments and Food.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

With only 6 days before our next adventure I would truly like to wake up refreshed from a good night’s sleep. Kathy on the other hand slept soundly the whole night and still woke after I did this morning. Even as tired as I felt this afternoon I resisted the urge to have a nap but Kathy just couldn’t keep her eyes open.
After breakfast I had another follow up appointment today. Some of the blood tests I had done June 29th were for my specialist and like my family doctor was very impressed with the results. Other than a renewal of my prescriptions I am good to go for another year.
On the way home I stopped at Shoppers Drug Mart to fill those prescriptions and then I headed home for lunch. After we moved last year we had our medical files moved closer to our new home. For some reason our old Shoppers Drug Mart location had refilled one of my scripts and even though I had told them I was moving my store location they went ahead and filled it anyways. That move on their part was causing me a problem at the new location. Once again I had to call the old location and explain that I had cancelled the script back on the 9th and 21st of this month and I was no longer going to travel across town to get my prescriptions that I could walk across the street for. The issue was resolved but lunch was later than I had planned.

This afternoon Kathy continued with her research she had worked on this morning until she could no longer see straight. I started by reading the blogs I had missed this morning before leaving for my appointments.
These are all people who won free Lobster dinners.
By supper time we had to leave because we were going to join our son Kevin and Melissa our daughter-in-law for supper out. Being this was Wednesday we were just changing our weekly visit into a more adult only get-together. The reason we did this is Melissa had entered a contest at a local eatery called Shooters and had won two free Lobster dinners. There were a total of 24 people there that were all being served the same meals that was in part being sponsored by Alexander Keith brewing Company. Kathy and I just ordered off the menu which was more than enough for us but we were able to sit with the kids and enjoy their company and conversation.
Once supper was over we brought the kids home before heading homeward. Before arriving at the apartment we made a quick stop at the grocery store for needed supplies.
Our Fish and Chips.
Today was pleasantly comfortable outside but the predicted temperature for the weekend with the humidex is supposed to feel like 108 F (42 C) and then start a steady cool down into next week. Could those cooler temps have anything to do with the fact that there are now only 117 days left until Christmas Day. Thanks for following along. Be Safe and Enjoy!

I want to thank you for reading my blog. As many blogs it was to keep family and friends kind of in touch as we travel. I have gained many more friends through the blog.
