Plan Ahead Day.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Kathy and I thought that we were doomed to not getting a decent night’s sleep until we’d be on the road to our next adventure in 5 days. Fortunately we were both so tired last night that neither of us woke until after 9:00 this morning.
After a leisurely breakfast we headed over to our computers to catch up on E-mails and blogs. I made certain that we had long distance phone service while we would be away next week while Kathy was busy getting her clothes for the trip ready. Once she returned to her computer it was my turn to get my clothes ready so later after lunch we could go to our trailer and pack our clothes away for the trip.
Some of you might be asking yourselves if we are leaving next week why not just wait until that time. The answer is quite simple Isaac. That is right hurricane Isaac. Tomorrow the temperature in our area is predicted to be above the century mark with the humidex. For Sunday through next Tuesday we are supposed to be getting doused with the last of the rain from Isaac. It will be bad enough hauling our medical equipment out that morning and food from the apartment. The clothes would get soaked so it is easier to do it today.
Right after lunch was finished we loaded the truck and headed off to the storage yard so we could get the clothes packed away. With that completed Kathy needed to stop at the Dollar Store for a few travel items. The store we went to is in the Tecumseh Mall so not only did we take care of that errand we casually walked around getting ideas of things to buy as Christmas gifts. In case you forgot it’s only 117 days left until Christmas Day.
By the time we got home it was nearly supper. Kathy thought a nice breakfast for supper would hit the spot and it did. With the dishes washed and put away we watched the 6:00 news. Now we can finish our day working on projects on the computers and keeping up with the blogs we follow. Thanks for following along. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Office Jokes, Quotes, and Anecdotes

Men who didn't confront colleagues or bosses who treated them unfairly doubled their risk of heart attack, according to a study in Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health. Researchers asked 2,755 men how they typically responded to unfair treatment at work. those who said they would most often "Go away" or "Let things pass without saying anything" had significantly more heart attacks during the following ten years, even after researchers controlled for variables such as education level and job strain.
