Tiring Day.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

We slept much better last night and we even slept in. Now the question is why are we feeling so tired at this early hour in the evening?
After a dormant day in the apartment yesterday we decided we needed to get out and at least walk around some stores. So after breakfast we sat at the computers only long enough to read our E-mail and a few blog posts. From there we were sticking to plan A, and we were out the door by 11:00.
Kathy had thought of stopping at WalMart but had said she needed to stop at the Dollar Store as well. I then suggested we stop at the Tecumseh Mall where there were a variety of stores to look around including the Dollar Store. Before we knew it we had been walking for nearly three hours.
After leaving the Mall we headed to the storage yard because Kathy had forgotten her most comfortable walking shoes in the trailer the other day when we arrived home. This also gives us a chance to check out the trailer to make certain there are no unwanted guests in it.
By the time we got back to the apartment both of us were ready for our late lunch. We managed to empty a lot of left-over food dishes that Kathy immediately recreated making them like a first time meal.
After lunch we went over to visit with Kathie and Ross at their apartment. Surprisingly Ross was actually home on a Sunday. The Security Company he works for still has him working at the Sifto Salt Mines in Goderich, Ontario. Last year on August 21st an F3 Tornado destroyed much of the town of Goderich and severely damaged the mine. Since the reconstruction is almost completed his hours have been reduced and he has been coming home every eight days.
After getting caught up on things happening in all our lives Kathie told Kathy we were staying for supper. That had not been our intention but it was like old times back and forth. With more talking taking place after supper it was close to 7:00 by the time we headed over to see our granddaughter Kylla.
Yesterday everything she ate or drank didn’t stay down long so she was doing better today. Her aunt who is a nurse had just left after changing the dressings on her knee and said it was looking good. Unfortunately Kylla was not coping too well with the pain level and didn’t even want me taking her picture because she said she didn’t look good or feel good. This is to be expected after surgery. She is on pain killers and it will take awhile before she starts to feel better.
So even though it was a relaxing day we kept ourselves so busy I am ready to go to bed early. We are now 16 days before our next adventure in September and looking forward to it plus it is only 127 days left until Christmas Day. Have you started your shopping yet? We have! Be Safe and Enjoy! Thanks for following our adventures.
