Winter Weather Warning.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After only an Hour in my Recliner, I was then able to get another Six Hours of sleep in bed. Not having to get up early really help when I got up at 8:10. I hadn’t even opened the Balcony Blind when Kathy came out to join me.

After a Muffin and Yogurt Cup for breakfast we headed to the Computers where I spent extra time reviewing the Weather Radar. For the last few days The Weather Network had been showing our area getting hit with a Severe Winter Storm. Then last night the Meteorologist on the 6 o’clock Local News reinforced that forecast urging viewers to avoid going out if possible. The Flurries would not start until 2:00 this afternoon, which was when we’d be leaving for our appointment.

We were ready before lunch but nothing had started yet. We waited until 2:00 to leave the Apartment, but by the time we got to the Car it was Ice Coated. It was 2:19 as we pulled out of the parking lot. A coincidence or what, just like when we were headed to our Family Doctor last week, we ended up behind the City Plow that was out spreading Beet Juice, to de-ice the City Streets.

It was 2:39 when we parked the Car in front of Fantastic Sam’s. The parking lot was full, but I managed to shimmy the Car into a tight spot. Waiting inside we felt more comfortable, when Julia walked in. As per usual it didn’t take long for us to loose our Shaggy Dog appearances. Going out to the Car, the parking lot was nearly empty.

We headed up the road to Pita Pit and took advantage of their Wednesday $7.00 Special. Like I’ve said before, “This is Healthy Fast Food”. Leaving I once again had to scrape the Ice off the windows before we left.

It took nearly Forty Minutes to get home because of Rush Hour Traffic, that was moving as fast as I can walk.

As we sat to have a cup of Tea, my lack of sleep of the last few days, again caught up to me. Kathy just made certain I didn’t spill my drink.

After the 6 o’clock Local News again warned us about staying home, we looked out the window to see Flurries rather than Rain. It should be finished in the morning, because we have another appointment tomorrow afternoon.

We later watched Chicago Med”, “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.for entertainment. These are the kinds of shows we like watching.
