Another Birthday, Doing A Recount, Exercising and More Wishes.

Last night before going to bed I started experiencing pain that I have experienced many times. It was brought on by my not exercising enough and what happens is the muscles are starting to shrink. That may sound petty but when muscles start to shrink it is far more painful then when you exercise to simply stay fit.

I took an Extra Strength Tylenol Night Time believing that would help me sleep soundly through the night. It didn’t. Around 4:00 I woke only to spend the next Two Hours tossing and turning before going back to sleep.
Waking around 8:30 it didn’t take long for the Aches to return while I got things ready for breakfast but again I was thinking more of what had to be done. Minutes later Kathy joined me and mentioned another reason why I was feeling the way that I was by simply saying Happy Birthday.

This year we did something unusual by celebrating Kathy’s Birthday on April 29th. Normally we celebrate both our Birthdays on April 30th which is the day between. We spent the morning on our Computers getting caught up on what is happening.
For lunch we had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches garnished with Dill Pickles then topped off with a Mandarin Orange and a Brownie for dessert.

Even though I managed to get our Pill Doucettes filled for Thirty Days last night when I went to document what we still have on hand the numbers didn’t correspond with what was in the Vials. After lunch I again took over the table and counted every Pill and Vitamin we have in stock. While I was doing that Kathy was helping me by removing the Labels of personal information before the Vials get Recycled.

Still aching I had everything put away by 3:30 and was able to start exercising. Even though I stress “Starting slowly” I pushed myself through a Second Set and hope to make it back to Three Sets by this weekend. Considering that I have to use our Living Room as my Gym I have to be creative in order to get the best workout with limited resources. By under exercising you start slacking off which is bad because then you don’t put yourself before chores. After I put everything away there wasn’t an Ache or Pain in my body.
For supper I cleaned and hand cut Potatoes so that Kathy could saute then in one frying pan while sauteing a couple of Pacific Salmon Fillets in another. Dessert was a Yogurt Cup.

Just as we started watching the Local News my sister Anna called to wish me a Happy Birthday and we had a lot to talk about.

Our daughter Rose sent me a Birthday Wish online.

We just finished watching the 11 o’clock Local News. Now I’m going to bed pain free and I’m sure I”ll sleep soundly tonight. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  11. Happy Birthday Rick.

I can certainly relate to your muscle aches. If I don't get for my walk every day my back and hips remind me the next day.

  13. Happy birthday. You gave yourself the best gift possible, your health. Good for you to start exercising again. Even a little in a small area is better than noting.
