Heading out to the Tampa RV Show.

Our Location today is Tampa, Florida.

We were up by 8:00 this morning and after a quick look at the computers it was time to start closing up shop. Kathy did her usual magic shutting and securing the kitchen for travel. I had the job of closing down our roving office before closing up our medical equipment and making the bed.

Kathy continued the fine tooth adjustments throughout the interior while I headed outside in order to start flushing the waste tanks and filling our freshwater tank to the max. We are heading down to the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa Florida where we will be staying onsite with only 30 amp electrical service. We’ll be attending the Florida RV Rally until Sunday.

When we mentioned the other day that we were at Rock Crusher Campground RV Resort Elaine Cochrane from E& R Travels commented that Donna and Ralph from Our Adventures with Tassie were staying at the park and we should try to get together. Not knowing their site number Kathy sent an E-mail off to Donna and Ralph. Unfortunately they had been away for a few weeks and didn’t arrive home until last night. When Donna saw the E-mail she checked our site and immediately recognized our truck and trailer. Worse yet when she looked out the window this morning we were in the process of hooking up to leave. Donna did make it over and we had a few minutes time to be introduced. Unfortunately Ralph was tied up and we didn’t meet him but they are planning on coming to the RV Show tomorrow to meet up with Elaine and Rick so we’ll get a chance to sit and talk tomorrow. By 12:30 we were rolling into the Tampa Fairgrounds.

Within an hour we were unhooked, leveled and enjoying lunch in our trailer. By 2:00 we headed off walking to explore the RV Show. A half hour later we were finally inside and walked around for over two hours before saying we’ll be back tomorrow. The problem was we were so tired and gotten so turned around that we didn’t know which way to go.

We finally saw a trolley that we thought would take us back to the trailer but after we started seeing the same trailers found out we were on the wrong side of the park. We had to ride around to the other side of the park because we were too tired to walk any further. Finally on the right side of the park we had to wait only two minutes for the trolley that would eventually get us back to the trailer.

After all that walking today we’ll be looking for the proper trolleys to ride tomorrow. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

Office Jokes, Quotes, and Anecdotes

A new global crisis is emerging, a catastrophe that claims thousands of new victims during every work-in-progress meeting and threatens the gabardine fabric of our civilized society. It is the colapse of the modern office into a pit of bile, blame, and bad behavior, where backpedalling, backstabbing, and mercenary ambition are condoned, and often rewarded.
