Not wanting to jinx myself, but after only Ninety Minutes in my Recliner, the rest of the night was spent in Bed until after 8:00 this morning. It was only minutes later that Kathy came out to join me. As soon as I saw the temperature was 43 F (6 C) and would remain that way until after the Sun would set, I started making breakfast.
We
enjoyed Scrambled
Eggs
before bringing our Coffees
to the Computers.
We got caught up on all our reading before taking turns at getting
ready to go out. I was pulling up the rear when Kathy received the
same Scam
Call
I did last week. The only difference was they lowered the price of
the Cell
Phone
that we didn’t order. Another number Blocked.
We headed out the door just before noon and even thought I had told Kathy about the temperature and Wind, she only wore a Jacket that was too lite for the day. She didn’t want to go back to change, so she soldiered on.
Our first stop was Mary Brown’s for lunch. This is a Canadian Brand that started on the east coast and is slowly expanding across the country. They only sell Chicken but it is we worth the stop, because you will waddle your way back to your vehicle, like we did.
Driving across the parking lot we went to the Dollarama outlet closest to our location. They had the Brisk Iced Tea and Lemonade that we enjoy, but they didn’t have our breakfast juice.
We headed to Guardian Storage to collect our Mail. Nothing to make note about.
Noting that the Gas prices have risen, but the Fuel has dropped. We’ll keep our fingers crossed they both come down soon.
Stopping at Motor City Credit Union we took care of most of our banking before going over to the Bank itself to finish spreading the Eggs.
Back to another Dollarama, we were only able to add to the Iced Tea and Lemonade, before heading to the Bulk Barn to continue saving on our purchases.
The last place we went to was the Zehr’s grocery store. We’ve done such a good job of using up our food stocks, we were there well over an Hour restocking. Luckily we were able to take advantage of a lot of Sale Prices, but it still cost $$$. By that time not only was my Shoulder bothering me, but my Hip was as well. As we headed for home, we saw that we were in the middle of Rush Hour and the main intersection was blocked up by people heading home from work. That left me no choice but to cut through the Walmart parking lot. I even hit the Green Light and the Construction ahead had shut down for the day, so it was clear sailing until I finished parking.
It took two trips to the Apartment with our Two Wheeled Folding Shopping Cart to get everything in from the Car. It would take another Hour to get it all put away.
We needed to sit for a few minutes before thinking about supper. That just happened to be when our daughter Karen called while on her way home from work. She set a tentative time for a Girls Day with Kathy. I’ll definitely have something to do.
The Weather Guesser on the 6 o’clock Local News said our high temperature of 55 F (13 C) occurred around 6:00 this morning. We’ll also be waking to freezing temps tomorrow, that will only rise to 41 F (5 C) in the afternoon. There was more talk about Trade Tariffs and Federal Election talk.
It was after that when we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza with extra Mozzarella Cheese for supper.
We later watched “Murdoch Mysteries”, “Rescue: HI-Surf” and “High Potential” for some entertainment.
Tomorrow will be another busy one.
