There wasn’t as much bouncing around last night when I only spent an Hour in my Recliner during the middle of the night. At least I woke up feeling refreshed and spent some time on the Computer, before Kathy came out to join me.
I called it Brunch, making a Veggie Omelette that would hold us long into the afternoon, because I had a Plan. (We all know not to use that word around here, because if we do, it doesn’t happen.)
As soon as Kathy returned to the Computer, she noted that the Hearing Aide that seemed to fade away early yesterday, was not even working this morning. She tried cleaning and changing the inside Pillow, but still there was no sound passing through. A quick call to Hearing Life and we were on our way out the door.
It had been Raining since we got up, but it was down to a Drizzle all the way to the Tecumseh location.
There was already a gentleman at the counter when we walked in, so we sat down just as another woman with a similar problem walked in. She and Kathy were talking about what was happening when Tina came and got Kathy’s Hearing Aide. This was the one that had been sent out and recently Replaced. It only took Ten Minutes before she returned with it working the way it should. Part of the problem was, that even though Kathy had replaced the Pillow, Tina had to replace another part that was also plugged, and Kathy had not seen it. At least now she can hear me, and I’ll be able to remind her what to look for the next time it happens.
We headed over to Guardian Storage to pick up our Mail. It looks like we might have all the Tax Papers needed to get our Returns taken care of.
We stopped at Dollarama to get some walking in while picking up some food stocks that we were running low on.
It was nearly 3:00 and Brunch had worn off, so we stopped at Wendy’s to have Chicken Wraps for Linner.
The 6 o’clock Local News was abuzz with the Tariff War that was started by Donald Trump and what the different Provinces are planning to do to fight it. This may cause us to tighten our belts, but it could be worse across the International Border. Our temperature reached 50 F (10 C) after the Drizzle stopped, though it could get worse overnight.
We had made Plans on what programs we would be watching this evening, but all the programs were changed. Checking the display on the Television showed the same as I’d found earlier but it was still different.
I’ll be setting the Alarm tonight, so we don’t sleep late in the morning.
