Stocking Up and Below Seasonal.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

With only a short time sleeping in my Recliner last night, I was able to finish the night sleeping in Bed. When I woke minutes after 8:00 this morning I actually felt totally refreshed. I had barely started getting breakfast ready when Kathy joined me.

It had been Raining since midnight and was still when we looked out the Balcony Door. We didn’t even have our Coffees at our Computers when Health First Pharmacy called to say Kathy’s Prescriptions were ready to be picked up. Looking outside, we decided to wait until after lunch to retrieve them. I planned one thing but when the Split Pea with Ham Soup can mysteriously fell out of the Pantry Drawer. Guess what we had for lunch.

We let that settle down before heading out the door. With it still Raining, I had Kathy wait inside until I brought the Car around. I was a little damp because that is the side of the building that creates a Vortex with the Wind.

Since I’ll be working on the Pill Doucettes this weekend, the first place we went to was the nearby Shoppers Drug Mart to collect the Vitamins that will be needed. Luckily, most of those were “On Sale” and what wasn’t, was Senior Discounted. It still cost $$$$.

Our next stop was Health First Pharmacy. The moment I walked in, the Pharmacist Assistant reached for the bag containing Kathy’s Medications. I was back in the Car in Three Minutes.

In an effort to avoid Detours, we headed to Riverside Drive, and I was dropping Kathy at the front entrance Five Minutes later. I was still a little damp by the time I got inside not so much from the Rain but the Flurries we were experiencing.

We finally enjoyed our Second Cup of the day, while I started updating our Medication/Vitamin Spreadsheet. At least I won’t be short when I need them.

Yesterday, the high temperature was 72 F (22 C), by Midnight it was only 63 F (17 C), but by Noon today it was down to 41 F (5 C) and getting colder. We have been enjoying Early Spring Temperatures to finish off Winter. Now that we are just starting Spring, we are now experiencing Below Seasonal Temperatures.

After sharing a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Three Meat Pizza for supper and cleaning up the Dishes, we watched Matlock”, “Law and Order” and “The Pitt”.
