Starting One Project But Finishing Another, Great Ride Around The Park and Delicious Meal.

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

Sleeping in until 8:30 is really starting to be a bad habit when we have other things that need to be done while the weather is nice. Looking outside at people on the Greens at the end of our street told us that the temperatures that early in the day was not that comfortable when they were all wearing Jackets and Long Pants.

We spent most of the morning getting caught up on our reading on the Computers and Inside Chores. Then we started putting together the ingredients that would become our supper in the Crock Pot. Kathy knowing what to blend together while I chopped the Vegetables that would help make the Honey Garlic Chicken Wings mouth watering Delicious
Minestrone Soup, Open Faced Grilled Cheese Bread and Pickle Slices
we shared as well as Vanilla Pudding with Multi Berry Jam for dessert.
Since I was already busy with the cutting board Kathy also had me slicing cheese for the Open-Faced Grilled Cheese Bread while she made the Minestrone Soup. Not only did it all taste good but it helped to get the last of the morning chill out of our bones.

The first thing I did after lunch was to work on our 14 Year-Old Car. When I was sanding the Bubble in the Paint the other day it was discovered that some road grime had caused a rust spot that had eaten through. We are not planning on replacing the Car for a few more years so today the only Rust Spot on the Car was repaired with filler. Now I’ll let it harden overnight before sanding and repainting it tomorrow.
Hard to see the Wheels fit perfectly in the Wing Extensions.
Carrier still needed to be painted.
I laid the Bicycle Carrier that I modified the other day on the ground and when the Tandem Bike Wheels were put in the Extension Wings it fit perfectly. The next thing to do was to repaint the entire Carrier and the finished result was very nice.

With everything we’ve been doing lately we have hardly had any time to exercise so I suggested to Kathy we go for a ride around the Park. She didn’t have to asked a second time but she said the Breeze was cool enough that it was bothering her Shoulders so she wore her Jacket. We rode down every street in the Park and even around the front Gate before heading back Home. We weren’t gone for more then Forty-Minutes but it made both of us feel better.
Spanish Rice with fall off the bone Honey Garlic Chicken Wings.
Another thing that the ride made happen was for our Metabolisms to start racing. As soon as we got back Kathy made Spanish Rice to go with the Honey Garlic Chicken Wings for supper. It was a good thing our kids weren’t here or we wouldn’t have had anything to eat. The Chicken Wings are that Delicious and by cooking them in the Crock Pot you can just use your fork and all the meat just falls off the bone.

Setting Sun reflecting off the Greens.
The weather after tomorrow is returning to more seasonal conditions so I only have one more day to get certain things finished outside. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
