Not finished yet

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

It was a finish reading the newspaper and blogs we follow day. Then we started setting up our Christmas tree. Being that it is artificial you'd expect it to go up really quick. From past experience we have learned that once it is assembled you still need to let it relax even after you spread out the branches to give it a natural look . What I'm saying is the tree has been packed away in a box for almost a year you can spread the branches but the needles have to spread on their own. We'll finish applying the ornaments tomorrow.

We've had a few comments on the decorations and of having done a nice job. Thank You all for the compliments but we are not new to this. When we lived in LaSalle we wore the nick name of the Griswalds.
We put together a small 20,000 bulb light display that we worked on every day after work for the month of November. Problem was traffic would come to a stop in front of our house. We could see flashes from people taking pictures. We even saw police cars and fire trucks that were just patrolling stop to take personal pictures. Unfortunately all our pictures of this were on film. these were lost in a fire in 2004.

When we move to Windsor many things delayed us from putting up the display the first few years. Finally when the market crashed and everyone looked down and needed something to pick them up, Kathy and I decided it was time.

We put together a simple not over the top Fantasy display only a 12,000 bulb light display. People we hadn't seen smille in a long time were standing on the city sidewalk with their children pointing, laughing, and just enjoying the display.

Please pardon the poor quality of photos from an old point and shoot camera. As you might note we have had a little experience with the lights. When we moved to the apartment we helped our kids by giving them a lot of our display. So even though we don't have our own display to work on we enjoy helping the kids with theirs and teaching them the ropes.

We ran an errand looking for supplies we'll need as they are predicting chances of a four letter word that many RVers from around here ran away from. We won't mention that even though we'll be in our apartment if we travel we might need something for digging or scraping in our vehicles.  We won't mention that either. SHHH!

We also found a new star topper for our tree and a package of Christmas Cards to mail out. We came home adjusted a few more branches and the tree's location.

After supper we went back to our daughters for our normal Sunday night visit. She was surprised to see the picture of their home on the web but loved seeing it there. She was also decorating their Christmas Tree.

Now I.m sitting at the keyboard half falling asleep because I can't sleep at night. Maybe Tonight?

It's about time.

Krackers

Two fleas were coming out of the movies as it's starting to rain very hard.
One flea says to the other, "What are we going to do? Should we walk or wait for a dog?"
