Enjoyable Evening

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Sorry for being late but our plans for the evening made a quick change shortly after lunch today. Our daughter Karen called us to say she had to work tonight so Greg her husband would have to take Tyler to a hockey game. Kylla our granddaughter was singing at the high school fundraiser. The problem was dad was supposed to video record her performance and now he wouldn't be able to.

Well we had no problem saying we'd do it because we love to hear Kylla sing. After Karen calls to say that her and Greg are buying our tickets. That wasn't necessary but much appreciated. Thanks folks.

We were probably the first ones in the door so we were able to get a table in front by the stage. There were a number of dance routines, some musical overtures, and some singing by other students. Kylla was supposed to sing right after a ten minute intermission so I didn't mount the camera on the tripod. All of a sudden they announce Kylla coming on before the break so all I could do was fire up the camera and hand hold it through her performance.

The principle thanked everyone in attendance for making the fundraiser a success. The students helped gather donated items from local businesses that were used in a silent auction. They also helped cooking  and serving the meal as well as all the entertainment. They did a great job and should be proud of themselves.

We were proud of them as well but especially our granddaughter for her stellar performance. We were also proud of our purchases in the silent auction as a way of being able to help the school in their fundraiser.

For some reason I need to add a program to my computer to be able to play the video of our granddaughter. We can hear the audio but it's more enjoyable if you can see it as well. I'll post it on-line when I get it running.

In the meantime we can still enjoy more Christmas lights.

It's about time.

Krackers

A young man called directory assistance. "Hello, operator, I would like the telephone number for Mary Jones in Phoenix, Arizona".
"There are multiply listings for Mary Jones in Phoenix," the operator replied. "Do you have a street name?"
The young man hesitated, and then said, "Well, most people call me Ice Man."

  1. If you upload the video to You Tube you can easily embed it in your blog. That seems to be about the easiest way.

    Love the Christmas lights.
