One Step Closer and More Waiting.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

The moment the Alarm went off this morning Kathy was out of bed before I was. We only had time for a lite breakfast before heading out the door. Even though Kathy was still wearing her Heart Monitor it was my turn to seek medical attention. She had changed her mind about coming with me, but when she was reminded that the Water was being shut off for the entire building today, she went back to Plan A.

We lucked out on the Riverside Drive single lane traffic restriction, arriving just as the traffic ahead of us was heading through. Unfortunately, that time saved didn’t help in finding a closer parking spot than we had yesterday at Windsor Professional Center.

We end up at the farthest point of the parking lot and had a long walk to get to the Pain Care Center. Even though this appointment was made over Two Months ago, this was only a preliminary evaluation. This all started with the Neck Pain that I am experiencing, but now it also includes the problem with my Shoulder. After registering we barely sat in the Waiting Room before being called in. The first thing the assistant did was to take my Blood Pressure, which was higher than it normally is but still considered acceptable. She reviewed the Twenty-Two Page Questionnaire I had filled out and checked my movement abilities. My next appointment is now Two Months away, before I can actually see the Doctor. The Receptionist didn’t like my refusal to 7:00 in the morning appointments.

We made a quick stop at Guardian Storage to pick up our Mail.

Our breakfast snack had worn off, so we stopped at Pita Pit for a Healthy Fast-Food lunch. It was only minutes after 11:00 and yet there was a line up to the door. At this location all Pitas are sold for $7.00 on Tuesdays, saving us Three Dollars each.

With full bellies we headed back to the Apartment to relax. I had filled water containers so if we needed, we could still use the Bathroom. By 2:00 I could hear the Toilet Tank filling up.

It was past 6:00 when we had Perogies with Asparagus as a side for supper.

After cleaning up and returning to my Computer, it kept shutting down the programs I had open. The only way to get it to work, was to pull the Power and Battery. It was over an Hour before I was back On-Line.

We later watched “The Rookie” and the “11 o’clock Local News”.
