Tornado Alert and Drying Out.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After only spending a Half Hour in my Recliner last night, I managed to spend the next Six and a Half Hours actually sleeping in Bed. It was an unbelievable feeling that I’ve not experienced much of, as of late.

I’d hardly made it to the Livingroom this morning when Kathy came out to join me, which meant I wasn’t ready for breakfast yet. She commented that she hasn’t slept that soundly in a long time. Every time I woke throughout the night, she was holding my Arm. She woke up this morning, because I was no longer in Bed.

Looking outside showed the remnants of last night’s Rainstorm that also triggered a Tornado Alert that sounded off on everyone’s Cell Phones in the region shortly after Midnight. It remained a threat for over an Hour and left many Farmers Fields in the area flooded.

Since our breakfast was again a Snack and a Yogurt Cup, I made certain that lunch would hold us over until later in the evening. We shared a Bacon/Veggie Omelette for a 1:00 lunch.

Though we had a few more Showers throughout the day, the asphalt was starting to dry by the time the Sun set.

We later shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Spinach Pizza with added Green Olives.

We watched “Matlock”, “Elsbeth” and the “11 o’clock Local News”. Looks like we might have a decent weekend.
