CPAP Supplies and Comment Information.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Last night was nearly the same as Sunday Night. I would be sleeping then wake up not able to fall back to sleep, until I moved location. As soon as I moved from the Recliner to the Bed or vice versa, I instantly fell to sleep. My hope is to sleep the entire night in one location every night. The back and forth has another problem with it, I sleep later, and I don’t like wasting daylight.

We settled for Cereal for breakfast and though the temperature was warmer at midnight it was still above the Freezing Mark.

Our Friends Wayne and Sue from Washington State e-mailed so we wrote back. Returning to the cold Northern States after getting used to the warmth of the Desert can be a shock to the system, but they are surviving.

Lunch was simply Grilled Cheese Sandwiches today with Dill Pickle condiments and Yogurt Cups for dessert. The intense Pain in my Shoulder and Arm are telling me to make things simple.

In answer to a Comment about giving advice about Welding goes a long way back. I had a number of Apprentices that I coached through my career. The funny thing is that one of those early Apprentices, still works for Ford Motor Company as Journeyman Welder and is also teaching people at St. Claire College how to weld. I now have Archie’s e-mail address and communicate with him.

We were about to go through the container of CPAP Supplies that we brought home from the Storage Unit the other day when Vital-Aire called us to see if we needed any supplies. That has not happened since before Covid stopped those calls. We did order some Wraps for Kathy to protect her from the effects of the Silicon of her CPAP Mask is made from. Strangely, her allergy is not as bad as mine.

Supper was somewhat easy, Perogies along with Asparagus as a side, and the Leftover Caramel Pumpkin Pie for dessert.

After cleaning up the Dishes, we watched “Will Trent”, “The Rookies” and “FBI: Most Wanted”.

It should be a little warmer tomorrow, so if my Arm is feeling better, we should be getting things done.

It Sucked and Sorough Called

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

My night had its ups and downs but I still managed to be making Banana Pancakes for breakfast when Kathy came out to join me at 8:30. Of course, I had to make her’s extra special by adding in Chocolate Chips into the mix.

There was more On-Line reading than normal this morning, so it was disappointing when the clock showed that it was already 1:00. We would have Split Pea with Ham Soup for lunch as well as a Cookie, Mandarin Orange and Yogurt Cup for dessert. Not exactly what I had Planned.

We finally assembled Kathy’s new Vacuum Cleaner. When she tried it on the Livingroom Rug, she could not believe how much was sucked up. Even our old Vacuum did not clean that well. It is also much easier to clean out.

The temperature this afternoon reached 71 F (21.5 C) but we couldn’t keep the Balcony Door open, because of the 32 MPH Southwest Wind Gusts that were blowing papers off the Desk across the room.

I was just about to start making supper when Sorough called. You might recall I started training him as a Welder while working at Windsor Feedscrew. He came in with an attitude that if someone didn’t like something he was doing, he would fix their wagons. So I started giving him some advice about life and work. As he became more pro-efficient at the job, his parents were also noticing a positive change in his attitude. He left Windsor Feedscrew last Summer after enrolling at St. Clair College, to learn the trade of Welder.

I always told him that if he needed advice to call me. Tonight he needed more advice on technique and wanting more information on what a CWB Ticket meant. He was told that before this summer, he could start getting some of the many that he’ll get in his career. The last thing he asked me, I answered him with the question,What’s my Blood Type”. I heard a chuckle before he responded “B+”. He thanked me for helping him think through his delima. Kathy had to laugh afterwards because, I’d had it on Speaker and she heard the whole thing.

The 6 o’clock Local News was already on, so I added Mushrooms to a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Spinach Pizza for us to share. Again not exactly what I had Planned.

After the News was over and the Dishes finished we were able to watch Murdoch Mysteries” then a special about “Kate Middleton: A Life in Pictures” before finishing off the evening watching “Elsbeth”.

Not as busy a day as I had hoped for, but we still got things accomplished. It could be wet tomorrow.

More Organized and More Shazam.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Unlike Friday night, I didn’t take any ZzzQuil last night wanting my body to be able to function naturally. Though it wasn’t perfect, as I moved between my Bed and Recliner, I did manage to wake fairly well rested at 8:23 this morning.

I’d barely taken care of my own needs and started getting breakfast ready when Kathy joined me. We finished the last Pastries we had and topped breakfast off with a Banana.

While between programs on the Computers we discussed the Weather and what we need to get moving on. We were out the door by 11:30 to comfortable 55 F (13 C) Sunshine.

Our first stop was Wendy’s for lunch. Since Canada Post has not been delivering Coupons to our Mailboxes, the Manager gave us some the other day. They know we are regular customers and don’t want to lose our business, so by giving us Coupons our costs are much lower. We ordered Chicken Sandwich Combos with a Side Salad and Chili instead of Fries, then we switch our drinks for Small Chocolate Frosties. The reason for the last change is because Wendy’s gives Free Coffee or Seniors Soft Drinks in appreciation of your patronage. Some might say that’s a lot of food, not if you are going to work it off.

Our next stop was our Climate Controlled Storage Unit at Guardian Storage. The last time we were here, I fell over backwards and landed on the cement floor. My Hip was sore for nearly a week, but my Right Shoulder continues to give me lots of Pain. When we left that day, lots of items were simply placed on the floor. Today when we left there was a lot of empty floor space, and the shelving units are filling up. There’s still a lot of organizing to do.

We were back at the Apartment with a few things that we need to sort out like CPAP Supplies and things I had gather while still working.

Since we are into Mysteries, we started watching a marathon of “Criminal Minds” episodes. I was sneaking peeks and listening while getting supper ready. We enjoyed Sauteed Brussels Sprouts, Sweet Potato Slices and Honey Glazed Spareribs for our meal. We also enjoyed a small bowl of Frozen Yogurt for dessert a little later.

The Dishes were all cleaned and put away, before watching another Marvel Comics Movie, second in a series called “Shazam! Fury Of The Gods”. Lots of unbelievable things happen in a Fictional World, but it was still entertaining.

Not sure what tomorrow holds yet, but every day seems to be getting better, let’s hope my night does as well.
