Restless.

Last night was a real step back in time. I spent nearly the same amount of time trying to sleep between my Recliner and Bed all in One Hour increments. I’d barely reached the kitchen this morning when Kathy came out to join me. Though I had been up and down all night, Kathy had slept quite soundly.

It was fairly Cloudy out this morning with cold North Winds that didn’t allow for it to get too hot, as a fact our high would only reach 63 F (17 C). A big difference from yesterday.

Breakfast had only been a snack, so we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Vegetarian Pizza for lunch.

Once we cleaned up the Dishes, we later listened to a few episodes of “Forensic Factors” while still working on our Computers. Why I say listened is because we only glance at the screen when something of interest was mentioned.

Since we weren’t very active today, we kept supper lite by having Perogies for the meal.

We continued listening to the television while still on our Computers for the rest of the evening.

Though we had Planned on going out this afternoon, it didn’t happen, so we won’t make Plans for tomorrow, but just get up and out as soon as we can in the morning.

Barney’s Back and A Busy Day.

Well my sleep pattern is still iffy but at least I am getting some sleep. With an Hour here and Six Hours there, I almost felt rested when I got up at 8:00 this morning.

Kathy didn’t appreciate it when I opened the Blinds that flooded the room with plenty of Sunshine, but she had expressed to me that wanted to come along. Breakfast was fast and lite so we were able to be out the door by 9:15.

That allowed us to get around all the Construction Detours and still make it to ARC (Advanced Rehabilitation Center) with only minutes to spare. After the Heat, Tens and Laser on my Shoulder, I progressed to the assigned physical movements that should be helping me. When consulting with the Physiotherapist about my progress, I mentioned the added Pain experienced afterwards, even the part I have to do at home. Since it is still not clear when a CT Scan will be done to evaluate Soft Tissue Damage, she agreed to spread my appointments to Two Weeks, because I could be doing more harm than good.

We swung around to Guardian Storage to collect our Mail and were glad we did. There was another Cheque from the Government that needed to be deposited.

Driving by the Gas Stations we were happy to see the prices coming down.

At the Credit Union we managed to get some of our banking when one of the tellers noted that one of our accounts was about to be hit with a Service Charge if there was no activity. A simple solution was to move a few dollars from another account, thus creating activity, so no charge.

To finish our financial dealings, we then went to the Bank. Luckily all the Tellers were open today, because the line went to the door. I was back to the Car after only Fifteen Minutes.

It was already past noon so we used a Coupon for lunch at Wendy’s.

Next we stopped at the Bulk Barn to pick up our Unsalted Cashews as healthy snacks that we used a Coupon to save another $5.00.

Lastly we stopped at the Zehr’s grocery store to pick up a few things that were not available the other day. The best part was that most of those were suddenly “On-Saletoday. Worked for us.

When I finally turned on the Computers in the Apartment, I was happy to see that Barney (aka: OFM) had written a short message. It appears that Barney himself has been out of commission and is presently recuperating. I’m certain that he’ll have more to say about it in his own time. Just nice to hear from him.

We shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza with extra Pineapple and Mozzarella Cheese for supper.

We later watched a few episodes of “Monk”, then the “11 o’clock Local News” that verified our temperature reached 77 F (25 C) this afternoon and the Oil Prices dropped again.

Not sure what tomorrow will bring.

Last night wasn’t as good as Tuesday Night due to the tossing and turning but I did get some sleep. I was also up before Kathy today, giving me time to get ready for breakfast and to turn on the Computers. There were showers last night before we went to bed, but the only thing left this morning were Clouds.

It wasn’t before Kathy did join me for breakfast. Knowing that I have an appointment tomorrow, we decided to hold off on today’s errands.

There was another E-Mail today concerning our friend Barney (OFM). As I mentioned yesterday, between E-Mails and Comments trying to find out what has happened to him, I’ve also received messages saying he is having issues with his Computer and should be back soon, explaining what happened. Either way, we know that he’ll be having tooooo much fun.

We changed things up by having Tuna Sandwiches for lunch.

There was plenty to keep us peeled to our Computers for the afternoon.

Changing things twice in one day, we enjoyed Macaroni and Cheese for supper.

We later watched “Transplant”, “Law and Order”, “Criminal Minds” and the “11 o’clock Local News”.

Words of Inspiration

The work of woman is not to lessen the severity or the certainty of the penalty for the violation of the moral law, but to prevent this violation by the removal of the causes which lead to it.”
