It was another back and forth night between the Recliner and Bed. Thankfully, I spent more time sleeping in Bed than the Recliner, and it was all accomplished with the help of a couple Extra Strength Tylenol to ease all my Body Pains from working at the Storage Unit.

I added Apples and Oranges with the Yogurt Cups this morning as a way of being a bit more Healthy and to use them up before they went bad. I think there are still too many Apples, so I see some Homemade Apple Sauce being made real soon.

We took our Coffees to the Computers while we researched different things. We had an older Dresser Drawer that we no longer needed and was taking up space in our remaining Storage Unit. I researched the different Donation Centers in our area before it dawned on me, give it to someone you know, who needs it or someone they know. I called our son Kevin and he said no. Then I called our daughter Karen, only to get the same answer, but she recommended which Center she would donate to. We were just about to go out the door, when I thought to call our daughter Rose. Normally, they don’t need anything we are about to donate, but this morning, our granddaughter, little Maryam, tried reaching something on her bedroom shelf. She has a few scratches and bruises, but the dresser she used as a ladder is severely damaged.

We stopped at Popeye’s to take advantage of their $4.00 Value Menu. It is just filling enough, without overdoing it.

Back at Guardian Storage, a new customer arrived at the Entrance Kiosk just ahead of us and could not get in. With time, the Company has changed how many digits it took from Four, to Six, then Seven and now Eight. I’m sure he just got frustrated. He drove back to the Office while I simply added our Eight-Digit Security Numbers and went on to our Storage Unit.

It took a bit of moving things around before getting the Dresser outside near our Truck. The problem was lifting an Eighty Pound Dresser up Forty Inches just the Two of us. I lifted while Kathy placed a Prop under it, but it still was not working. Just then, Dave pulled up, asking if we needed a hand. He nearly lifted it in by himself. I could only say Thank You, while Kathy gave him a Hug in appreciation. The next thing we knew he was driving off. I had to add extra Ratcheting Straps to hold it secure before we started taking Backroads through the City.

With it being as Hot as yesterday, and it had been nearly Four Hours since we had eaten, we stopped at the closest Arby’s to have a Sandwich and the Biggest Cold Drinks they had.

After more Construction Detours, we finally arrived at Rose’s house. I started unfastening the Straps while Kathy knocked on the door. Talk about a Happy Family. Just yesterday, someone ran a Red Light and T-Boned their Mini Van. It’s a write off but their Insurance Company is trying to settle for a couple bucks. Munaf was not at fault, let the Insurance eat dirt.

Luckily, I had brought my Two Wheeled Utility Cart, so we had it inside in minutes. After Hugs and Handshakes, we were on our way, but this time I took the route I knew would get us where we needed and when, without all the Detours. We had to go back to our Storage Unit, to drop off the Cart, before heading for home.

It was a wonderful feeling to sit and relax, the “6 o’clock Local Newsthat started only Fifteen Minutes later. When it ended, we took turns taking our showers, but as I was adjusting the spray pattern, the adjustment arm Snapped Off the shower head. Tomorrow just got busier.

We later watched a Murder Mystery.

One Down.

After only a brief Half Hour in my Recliner, I managed to sleep the rest of the night in Bed. Most times one would think the busier you are, the better you sleep. Having worn ourselves out on Saturday, having Sunday as a day of rest might have done us good. I only woke briefly when the morning Twilight started flooding the Bedroom because Kathy had turned the Blinds in the wrong direction. The next time we both woke at a decent time.

With a breakfast snack, Medications and Coffee finished along with checking The Weather Network, our departure was again delayed but not a total loss. It would again reach 75 F (24 C) for the second day in a row.

We barely reached Tecumseh Road when the idea of an early lunch would keep us going longer, so we swung over to Wendy’s where we had Chicken Nuggets and Small Frosties to see us through. We were actually early enough that we could have had breakfast, but we both opted for the later menu.

We pulled into Guardian Storage by 10:45 and immediately went to our Climate Controlled Unit. After a bit more rearranging, we headed to what we had hoped would be my Storage Workshop, but with Cold Winters, Hot Summers and Failing Health things had to change. By staying in the Climate Controlled Unit, things can be accomplished under less harsh conditions.

Three Hours later we were dripping with Sweat and our early lunch, so we closed up to go eat. I was having trouble walking again, so I was not going to keep trying and get nowhere without a break.

I have mentioned many times that we try to vary where we eat, so we don’t get tired of the Same Old, Same Old, all the time, so I thought that we would have Healthy Fast Food for an early supper. We stopped at Pita Pit to do just that. I almost had Sticker Shock when I saw the price. For some reason, after working our buns off, I suddenly thought this was Tuesday not Monday where the Pitas are Forty Percent Less. Oh well, they have to make a living, and we were too tired to go anywhere else.

By 3:00 the break and the food had given us extra energy, so we headed back to our Storage Units at Guardian Storage. Things are now a little tight in the Climate Controlled Unit, but Kathy swept the dust out of Workshop. We stopped at the Office to show the picture of the empty Unit with its door open. Chantel understood our need to cut costs and had adjusted our account before I walked out the door. We’ll be making more room in the large Unit over the next few days.

Walking to our building from the Truck, it felt like we had weighted feet. We relaxed with lots of Cold Water until the “6 o’clock Local News” came on. The forecast has changed to warmer days sooner, with possible Rain for the weekend.

We’ll try again tomorrow.
