Though I spent the night going between the Recliner and Bed, it was the Pain in my Shoulders and Neck that kept on waking me. Of course, that meant there was need to catch up on the lost sleep. I barely had the chance to open the Balcony Blinds, when Kathy came out to join me. My Plan on what to make for breakfast immediately went out the window. We started our morning with the breakfast of champions, Cookies and Yogurt Cups. This would allow for what many of our Medications have on the label, “Must be taken with food”. Sounds good to me. Now I just had to rethink what we’d have to eat later, and when.
We received texts from both Kevin and Melissa today, wishing us a Happy New Year. While reading Blogs I could hear the Whistle of a Ship, but since our Apartment is to the rear of the building, could not see it.
Having recovered from the Vertigo, I experienced the other night, I wish that I could say the same about Blogger. Sandie was able to leave a Comment on our post, but I am still having the same issue, leaving Comments on other posts that use Blogger as a medium.
Since we have been cutting back on our Food Intake and our Breakfast Snack was served later in the morning, so we enjoyed an early Lupper at 3:30. The best part was I only had to reheat Leftovers that we brought home from our Family Christmas Celebration on Boxing Day. With it being Pot Luck and our daughter Karen packing the take home Containers for me, this is our second meal, with another for tomorrow. Today, we enjoyed Brisket with Cheddar Potatoes and Mixed Veggies. It was enough that we didn’t need any desserts or evening snacks.
We watched the “6 o’clock Local News” that gave a special Year in Review for the Windsor/Essex County area. Signing off at the end of the hour, they showed a video of a Canadian Coast Guard Ship going down the Detroit River, time stamped around the time I had heard it earlier today. I found this odd for this time of year with Ice Flows in the River.
After cleaning up the Kitchen and the Dishes, we watched the Comedy/Drama “The Lost City” with Sandra Bullock, Channing Tantum and Daniel Radcliffe.
As I write the Blog, the sound of Canadian Coast Guard Ship is heading back in the opposite direction in the dark. Again, I would be concerned about Ice Flows.
We’ll see what we do tomorrow.

Words of Inspiration
Great minds are related to the brief span of time during which they live as great buildings are to a little square in which they stand: you cannot see them in all their magnitude because you are standing too close to them.
