Pushed Too Hard.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After doing Four walks to the North Stairwell yesterday, I was certain that I would sleep like a rock. It was more like loose stones falling off the load constantly waking me for no reason. I was still up before the Sun but knew that I wouldn’t be outrunning it today. The walk had been just a bit too much, all at once.

We took advantage of the cooler temperatures this morning, by opening the Balcony Door and Bedroom Window. That allowed fresh air in and stale recycled air out. Since we’ve needed to run the AC, we both have developed a Dry Cough.

I truly appreciate all the Comments and have no intention of overdoing it, but I think I did. Every time I sat today, there was pressure near the incision and it continues this evening. We also found that for me to comfortably sit at the table to eat, Kathy and I had to switch seats in order to take pressure off the Right Hip itself.

Prior to my surgery, I had practically taken over cooking. Kathy made us Toast for breakfast, then Split Pea with Ham Soup for lunch. We worked together setting up Brussel's Sprouts with Perogies for supper.

I did manage Two walks to the North Stairwell today, then Kathy helped me in and out of the shower, before taking her own.

We reached a high of 70 F (21 C) today with close to that tomorrow.

Got some calls to make tomorrow and we have another “Murder Mystery” to watch this evening.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Glad you recognize the error. It is a lot easier when you know the limits exactly is what I found in my recoveries.
