Not quite like Tuesday night, I tried going straight to Bed first, without being told. Unfortunately, within the next Hour, after taking another Extra Strength Tylenol I had to retreat to my Recliner, so my Neck and Shoulders could realign. Thanks in part to the Tylenol, within the next Hour I was able to return to Bed for the rest of the night.
After having a Yogurt Cup and a couple of Cookies for our breakfast, we were able to enjoy our Coffees while at our Computers. Looking outside the sky was cloudless and the temperature was already at 54 F (12 C) but while we were sharing a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Bacon Pizza for lunch, the Clouds began to fill the sky.
Luckily, when we went out the rear entrance, there was only a slight Northerly Breeze coming behind us. With our Car being Black in colour we nearly started to sweat, the moment we opened the doors. We actually had to drive with the windows down until we reached the road.
After attending many appointments at the Pain Care Clinic, I made up my mind, not to show up early, because they are always running late. After walking out like a Human Pincushion again, the Receptionist mentioned the other Doctor went home sick so mine was handling all the Patients today. I did not know that there was a Second Doctor. My question that she had no answer for was, what was the delay for all the other appointments. The delays are always Ninety Minutes to Two Hours behind like today, but one time it was over Three Hours. When I mentioned that to the Receptionist, another Patient said she remembered that day, because I kept saying that Kathy had an appointment with her Cardiologist. Strangely, the Doctor then saw me immediately and we were headed to Kathy’s appointment within Five Minutes. I honestly believe that I am going to start arriving an Hour late, so I won’t have such a long wait.
It was nearly 4:00 when we left and our early lunch had worn off. We stopped at Taco Bell to have Chicken Quesadillas for supper. By the time we finished eating the Rush Hour Traffic was barely crawling in the direction we needed to go, so we went the other way. We later learned it was an Accident in the middle of the intersection, blocking traffic.
Our daughter Karen called while on her way home from work. Thank goodness for Hands-Free Bluetooth. When told about the long waits I have been having, she suggested having my case transferred to another Doctor.
The Weather Guesser on the “6 o’clock Local News” gave us some good news. The wet weather that heads our way every Spring seems to be taking the scenic route all around our area.
We later watched a couple episodes of “Law and Order”.
With Two Appointments down for this week, that only leaves Two More. Hoping to take advantage of the nice weather coming in the next week.
Kathy has already gone to Bed and I hope to join her soon but seem to be having a problem. Hopefully it’s just bug.
