Bad Bargain.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

The slightly lower nighttime temperature, combined with our running the Air Conditioner until we were ready for bed helped us in respect to getting a better night’s sleep. What continues to disrupt our sleep is the non-stop discomfort I’m experiencing with my Hip/Leg Issue. Though I try to help the situation with Nighttime Mickeys, there is a belief that my body has developed immunity to what could actually help. I’m now counting down the days to the Surgery Date that is Two Months away. As others that have been through this, going through pain to get rid of Pain, is well worth it.

We had to make up for some lost sleep this morning, so it was Cereal for breakfast, with our Coffees again coming to the Computers with us. Wanting to do more Refrigerator cleaning, I first started cleaning up Strawberries that we’d only purchased a few days ago. I was surprised that some had already gone bad. The rest will make a delicious dessert in the next couple of days.

Lunch was Homemade Cheddar Tomato Soup. We purchased a different breed of Tomatoes last weekend because they were Big, Firm and “On Sale”. It took longer to blanch them and when I started to cut them up, the Core filled more than half the Tomatoes. We enjoyed the Soup that came out, but I had thought that there should have been enough for a few bowls for us to share.

There is one problem that comes with making that kind of Soup, and that is the difficulty at cleaning the Dishes afterwards.

We waited until nearly 4:00 before heading out to Guardian Storage to check for our Mail. I’m expecting something from Amazon, but it seems the Delivery Service they charged with the delivery, can’t read Shipping Instructions; “Deliver between 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, closed on weekends and holidays”. They have failed to make the delivery, Three Nights in a row after 9 pm. The delivery has yet to be made.

We stopped at Burger King, where we used coupons for Chicken Nuggets for our supper. Since the Humidex was at 108 F (42 C) we decided to eat inside.

After enjoying our meal we stopped at the Grocery Store to pick up a few food stocks we have used up, including locally grown Tomatoes.

Later we watched a Mystery Movie to fill our evening.

  1. We have locally grown tomatoes. From our side yard garden. More than we can keep up with and the same thing with cucumbers. I'm not complaining. We give the excess to our RV guests. And this year the biggest cabbages we've ever grown.
