Out With The Old and Two Trains.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Though we didn’t have anywhere pressing to go this morning, we were having breakfast before 8:00. What we didn’t know was that things were about to change.

We barely finished our Coffees when the Charitable Organization we had offered our old Studio Recliner Loveseat to, called to say they were on their way to pick it up. At least they called.

While waiting the Twenty Minutes we were told, I was tracking our latest On-Line Purchase. It was scheduled to be delivered on Thursday, so imagine my surprise when it showed that it was already Delivered. For those that don’t know, when we were Fulltiming, we had a Mailing Address, where everything was delivered to, that we continue to use to this day. Our Plan had been to continue Fulltiming after Covid cleared, but then Health Issues got in the way of the Plan. If we relocate our living address, we don’t have to go through the hassle of changing our Mailing Address with Doctors or Banking Institutions.

It felt good to have the Loveseat gone because it had been sitting in the middle of our Livingroom since our New Recliners had been delivered. We cleaned up the Area Rug and floor before heading out. It’s amazing what falls into furniture, that you didn’t realize that you dropped.

We were only at Guardian Storage a couple of minutes to pick up our delivery and we were heading back home, so we thought. A long fast-moving Freight Train changed that idea, so we circled back towards Central Avenue.

Being so close we stopped at Windsor Gas and Diesel. I needed to book an Oil Change and Battery Replacement for the Truck. Since Jim is swamped this week, I’ll drop it off to him next week.

Kathy decided to change out the Area Rug in our Livingroom, but when we unrolled the new one, it did not have a padding. That would have caused it to slide, causing a Tripping Hazard to anyone walking on it. They were available On-Line, but not until Friday.

We headed over to the Pioneer gas station to fill the Car, something I had Planned on doing this morning, but forgot because of the Train. We didn’t get in the driveway and had to wait for a slow-moving Freight Train to pass before we could fuel up.

At Walmart, the Associate told us they did not carry the Rug Pads, but there they were sitting on the shelf.

Though my Hip/Leg Pain was intense, we stopped at Pita Pit for their $7.00 Pita Specials. There are Three Locations in Windsor, but they all have this special on different days. We enjoy this version of Healthy Fast Food.

Due to the Pain, I’ll wait to trim the Padding tomorrow.
