Exploring a Different Part of Town.

Our Location today is Sevierville, Tennessee.

Once again last night we slept with the bedroom window open all night expecting to be awaken by rain. The Weather Reports from multiple stations had guaranteed that we would have rain last night. This morning we both woke to see dry pavement on the roads and on our patio.
Face Cups.
After breakfast was finished while we were on the computers we received a call from Gary the manager at the local Verizon Outlet. He explained what was happening as far as the credit to our account. Kathy and I talked about not being captives in the trailer waiting for further communication from them and thought we would explore a section of town that we had only seen from afar.

Shortly after 11:00 we headed down the parkway in search of the Old Mill section of town. We weren’t too far down the road when the skies opened up it finally started raining. We continued turning down a number of roads only to end up back on the parkway. The reason that was happening was due to Pigeon Forge being built on mountainous hillsides most roads around here don’t travel in straight lines. After driving like this for nearly an hour and getting ready to return to the trailer for lunch we finally turned onto the right road.
This young man was making one small flower pot each minute.
The best part was the area was right next to the Municipal Parking Lot where parking was free. You could also get on the Pigeon Forge trolley cars that would take you all over town for the huge price of fifty cents. Kathy and I were more interested in looking around more of the local Artesian Shops where the locally made wares were being made.

The Old Mill Farmhouse Kitchen was one place where locally produced preserves were sold and if you were not sure if you would like the product the clerk behind the counter would let you have a sample taste. Next The Old Mill General Store we found a T-shirt for me to add to my collection. It was now past 2:00 and we were getting hungry so we went to The Old Mill Pottery House Café & Grille where we enjoyed French Onion Soup and Porter Burgers that filled us up. We only ate half our sandwiches and brought the other half home for supper later.
French Onion soup with a bun.
The rain finally stopped by 4:00 when we stopped at the local Verizon Outlet where we spoke to Michelle the assistant manager. She explained what she was told would take place in fixing our accounts by the Inverness Florida Outlet. She was even able to answer a few other questions that we had never been explained before.
We each brought half home for supper.
Since the Weather Forecast in the Knoxville district was for severe thunder storms this evening and rain through the morning tomorrow. I decided to empty and clean the waste tanks and hook up the truck before having supper. This way if it is raining in the morning when it’s time for us to leave I can stay a lot dryer. Not sure where we will end up but heading north for sure! Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
