Finally Arrived, Dealing With Concerns and More Road Construction.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

We barely finished our breakfast snack before heading to the Computers this morning. After checking the weather, the next thing I did was to check my E-Mails. Right at the top of my list was a message from the Courier, that cannot read delivery instructions letting me know my Package was out for delivery. Twenty Minutes later Guardian Storage called to say it had arrived. Not bad, only Three Days later than what it was supposed to be delivered.

We took care of a few more things, before having Chicken Noodle Soup for a late lunch.

Our first stop was Guardian Storage where Kathy was surprised how light the huge box was.

Remembering the Road Construction we drove up Walker Road so that we were able to turn right in the proper lot.

After having read the folder about Hip Replacements and speaking to others who had experienced it, I needed to talk. We went to the Orthopedic Surgeon’s Office, where after a brief wait, we spoke with Connie. After hearing my concerns, she explained that this Doctor does not do everything that is written in the Folder. What many Surgeons found to be beneficial, he has found causes problems. All was good when we left.

The Road Construction in front of his Office seems to have moved closer towards the Hospital. That meant we drove an entire Mile east before running into another Road Construction site. There was Lane Restriction Barrels with Bumper to Bumper Traffic for Three Miles, in which there was not one piece of Equipment, nor any Workers. A Five Minute drive took Thirty Minutes to do. This City has a habit of repaving the roads one year, so they can tear them up to update the Infrastructure the following year. Don’t worry, it should be fixed in about Ten Years.

We were both feeling lightheaded from how little we are eating, so we stopped at Wendy’s to have Chicken Wraps for our supper. We People Watch when we are out eating, reminding one another when those clothes were in fashion. Our grands often tell us those clothes are the latest trend, even when they were the latest trend when I was in High School. Neither Kathy or I were trend setters.

Traffic was still hectic when we headed for home, so we’ll better plan our errands for tomorrow.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

What do you do, if you get peanut butter on your doorknob?

  1. Your road construction sounds a lot like what we have! Paving and repaving of the streets.
Good news that your hip consultation went well.

  2. You must be looking forward to a new hip for sure. I bet you'll be recuperating quickly too.
