I managed to spend more time connected to my CPAPS Machines last night, but spent the rest of the day feeling like I had hardly slept. I barely had time to start getting things ready for breakfast when Kathy came out to join me. With busy days ahead we’ll be cleaning out the Fridge as well as Eating Out while on the run.
Due
to a lite breakfast and time, we stopped at Popeye’s
to take advantage of their $4.00
Menu
for
lunch. Those Sandwiches
are half the size of their Regular
Sandwiches,
so we shared their Deep-Fried
Blackened
Cauliflower
instead of Fries
to
make the meal.
When we arrived at the Windsor Professional Center, we had to park at the farthest entrance because the lot was so full. By the time we walked and registered at the Windsor Heart Institute, we were slightly ahead of schedule, which is norm for our routine, but instead of taking us early, we had to wait. The place was packed and they even had a Prisoner from the Southwest Detention Center in Handcuffs and Two Burly Officers there to make certain he was going to behave himself.
While still waiting I received a call to verify my appointment for tomorrow at the Pain Clinic. The caller at first did not believe that we had just walked by their Office and was I upstairs with my Wife.
Kathy was scheduled for 1:45 but had to wait an entire Ten Minutes more before being called in. I was allowed to watch as she had her Cardiac Echocardiogram. Sitting down I watched as the junior technician hooked her up and started the procedure, while the senior technician seemed like she was playing with an unrelated program on her computer. After Twenty Minutes the senior technician took over doing things while the junior tech sat behind her asking a lot of questions I could not hear. She had things appearing on the screen that were not there before. What I later learned is this is how many of the New Technicians are trained in the field.
With that completed, we were sent back to the Waiting Room to sit for another Ten Minutes. Kathy mentioned the last time that test was done, it had taken Half the Time. Called in again, we walked past the very room Kathy had just left. This time she was fitted with a Heart Monitor that she has to wear for Three Days.
I don’t always check my E-Mails, Texts or Facebook Messages and was surprised last night to find a week old Text telling me of our Grandson’s upcoming Graduation. The Ceremony is slated for the same time that Kathy is to return her monitor. Think they’ll be getting it back early.
It was past 4:00 and we were starting to feel hungry but not too bad so we stopped at Taco Bell. It’s been quite a while since our last visit. We enjoyed Quesadillas, which were enough to satisfy us without making us feel stuffed.
Before leaving I walked across the lot to the Credit Union to collect the Graduation Gift. We also stopped at the store to get a Graduation Card.
After arriving back at the Apartment, I would spend nearly an Hour, filling in the Twenty-Two Page Questionnaire that I need for tomorrow.
We later watched a couple of “FBI” episodes.
Hate to think that I had to set the Alarm for tomorrow morning. Since I accompanied Kathy for her appointment, she’ll be doing the same for me.
