Last night proved to be the good side of the sleep roller coaster, because I managed to sleep, most of the Seven Hours I was connected to my CPAP Machines.
The Sun was shining brightly when Kathy came out to join me. Muffins and Yogurt Cups became breakfast with our Coffees at the Computers, but that wouldn’t last.
Readers will remember that when I worked at Windsor Feedscrew I was teaching a young man Sorough how to weld. He seemed rebellious, with no focus of what he wanted to do with his life. His parents and friends all noticed the change in his attitude. He later left the company and went back to ST. Clair College to learn how to become a Welder. He graduated this week, has his CWB Tickets and is out pounding the pavement looking for a job as a Welder. Even today he called me to ask about welding techniques. He sounded more focussed in his direction. The last thing I did was to remind him of what was my Blood Type. It was something I often told him, and it worked. B+ and you will succeed.

when we walked out the door minutes before noon. We
stopped at Wendy’s for lunch but since our Coupons
were expired we chose differently from the menu board to keep our
costs down.
Crossing town through the Ongoing Construction we actually made it to our next appointment ahead of time. Though this was an area I was familiar with, the buildings had been replaced by something much more modern. The parking lot was full so we ended up parking Two Blocks further up the street and walking back.
Kathy had been referred by our Family Doctor, to an Internalist to see if some of her medications were contributing to some of her issues. A form of having a Second Opinion. Walking in the waiting room was packed. Kathy appeared confused, because there were Two Receptionist Windows, serving Three Doctors each. I recognized the name we were looking for, so after Kathy presented her Health Card, we were immediately brought to the Examination Room. Though Kathy tried, the walk from the Car had raised her Blood Pressure. A minute later the Doctor was there checking the lists of Kathy’s Medical History and Medications. Now Kathy needs more Blood Tests before she sees him again. Since she’s getting tested again in a Month, he recommended doing them all together. We were back at the Car, at the time her appointment had been scheduled for.
About
Three
Weeks
ago Vital-Aire
called
to say we were eligible for
CPAP Supplies,
took the order but we
never
heard back from
them.
So we headed over to the
Office.
Teira,
knew nothing about the call and could find no record on the Computer
so
she simply wrote down what I was saying we needed and had it filled
in Ten
Minutes.
Since there were no Insurance
Numbers
exchanged, there was no worries about being Scammed.
We took the scenic route coming home by crossing the City using Riverside Drive.
It was past 4:00 when we finally walked in the Apartment and we both needed to sit in our Recliners. We didn’t relax but simply went back to reading on the Computers.
We shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza with extra Pineapple and Mozzarella Cheese for a late supper.
We watched “Murdoch Mysteries”, “FBI: Most Wanted” and the “11 o’clock Local News” for the evening.
