Talked To Courier and Fireworks.

After enjoying Two Birthday Celebrations yesterday, we got home before the Thunderstorm hit our area. I took my usual Nighttime Mickey to help me sleep. Around 3:00 I had to get up to reset the Protective Liner on my CPAP Mask. That’s when Kathy surprised me, saying she hadn’t slept yet. She had surprised me earlier at the party when, for someone that doesn’t drink any Caffeinated Beverages, had Two Mugs of Regular Coffee. Though she didn’t want to. I convinced her to take a dose of ZzzQuil to help her sleep.

I had things ready for breakfast and had completed most of my morning reading on my Computer, when Kathy finally joined me. It had taken a Half Hour before she drifted off, but she slept soundly. After having Cereal for breakfast, we took our Herbal Tea to the Computers.

While Kathy was getting changed, I texted Happy Birthday to our grandson Matthew. Today is his Special Day.

Even though we’d had a late breakfast, Kathy seemed to be starving. As a way of spreading our meals I got busy making Home Fries, Asparagus and Bacon for lunch with different Herbal Tea to drink, along with a dish Fresh Pineapple for dessert.

I was finally able to talk with an Amazon Representative about my order. They confirmed my Special Delivery Message before apologizing about the delay. They sent a message to the Delivery Courier as well as giving me their Contact Information. When I spoke to the Courier, they said it was up to the Driver’s Discretion when he makes the delivery. I simply explained that if I didn’t get it soon, that they would own it, and I’d get a Refund. I’m guaranteed to have it tomorrow. I also put their number in my phone’s Contact List.

When we were Fulltiming, we had Flowers all planted in the garden on our Site. When we moved into the Apartment, Kathy started collecting a few Indoor Plants to improve our Air Quality. Now we have Annuals that have turned into Perennials, but they are outgrowing their Planters. We had to make a List.

We shared a Modified Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza for supper, while we watched the 6 o’clock Local News. Besides the News, they reminded us that the Ford’s Fireworks Display was tonight.

After cleaning up the Dishes, we headed to the nearby Dollarama. We purchased Tomato Cages, so we can make the plants grow up, instead of spreading in the Living Room. We also got fresh Potting Soil and larger Planters. All at prices lower than Walmart.

Since the forecast is for a very wet few days, we’ll spread a Plastic Tarp and replant tomorrow.

We could hear the Fireworks happening Five Miles away.
