Inspection, Spam and Thunderstorms.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Shutting the AC before going to bed, again gave us both a more moderate night’s sleep, allowing us to wake up feeling refreshed.

Since I was up a bit before Kathy, I checked the forecast for the day only to find the Humidex was already above the Century Mark at 8:30. Putting my hand on the Balcony Door I could feel the warmth, even with an overcast sky.

We had our Toast for breakfast before going to the Computers with our Coffees. Since we were expecting someone for the Inspection we got changed before 9:00, instead of lounging. I’d finished my Blog reading by the time John the Building Maintenance Man, knocked on our door. That’s when he looked at his records to see that he already did the Inspection back when he replaced our Smoke Detector. That ended the Inspection.

I was busy deleting Spam Comments this morning. The way they infiltrate a Blog, is they comment on Older Blogs, thinking you won’t notice. When once your Computer recognizes it as a regular contributor, it will allow more of them to go through. Luckily, I have Comment Moderation set for Comments on posts older than Two Days. When I received the notices for Blogs in 2012 and 2015 from the same person, they were easy to weed out. Most times they are foreign companies that want free advertisement, or just someone needing a soapbox to spout their rhetoric.

It was already time for lunch, so I made a Bacon/Veggie Omelette that we shared.

The Clouds got thicker and by 2:00 we were hearing distant Thunder through our closed door. The Rain did not last more than Thirty Minutes but it dropped the temperature down to 75 F (24 C) in that short time. It would later reach 86 F (30 C) before dark.

It took some doing but I finally hung our Special Wedding Picture that Kathy asked me to do last week. My Hip/Leg was not bothering me as badly today, and I was able to wiggle behind our Recliners. Kathy was happy with the result.

The 6 o’clock Local News was half over, before we shared another Modified Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza, that I added Mushrooms and Extra Shredded Mozzarella Cheese to. No dessert required.

With tomorrow being the Summer Equinox, we’ll be seeing cooler days coming soon.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

What kind of award did the dentist receive?

A little plaque.

  1. Spam comments can be annoying and once in a while they find a way to sneak in. Does anyone even care to click on those sites?
