First, I would like to thank everyone for understanding what a challenge it can be with Kathy constantly changing her mind on simple things. Both Kathy and I took on the roll of being Care Givers to our Late Spouses who both died from Cancer in 1997. We both needed just a bit of help afterwards before going our separate ways then meeting up for Coffee. After our first date, we often sat sharing things of our pasts and married lives. This year we will be celebrating Twenty-Five Years as Man and Wife. Now all those memories we shared throughout our time together is changing in Kathy’s mind. Just last Saturday, we visited with her brother Danny in the very house that she grew up in. When she said she wanted to visit him the yesterday, I reminded her that she saw him last week. She claimed that was not him. It seems that the rate of memory loss is increasing. I will carry on the best I can until more help is needed.

Last night Kathy got to bed moments before I published the Blog and I immediately sat back in my Recliner. After staring at the ceiling for a Half Hour, I tried the same in Bed. I had no choice but to take the last dose of ZzzQuil in an attempt to sleep. It worked, and I was finally sleeping soundly when the Electrical Power momentarily went out. That meant we both woke up Gasping for air. We started our day at 7:30 this morning.

We still had Leftovers that we brought home from Kathy’s Birthday Celebration on Wednesday. We had a large meal yesterday, but there was still more. Some was Thick Cut Bread similar to type we remembered from our growing years. Not being sure what to do, they were made into French Toast. It tasted better than the mass-produced store-bought bread.

True to the Weather Guesser’s forecast last night, it had Rained but was trying to dry up.

We were enjoying our Coffees at the Computers, when my sister Anna called to wish me a Happy Birthday. Like most that read the Blog, it helps her to keep track of what is happening. Since we don’t talk as often as we’d like, our talks can get long. However, Kathy was telling me to cut it short after only Two Minutes and reminded me every minute for the next Ten Minutes, until we said Good-Byes. Her late husband’s mother suffered from Alzheimer, so she understands what I am going through.

For lunch we finished the Leftover Penne.

The Drizzle returned to water the lawns and wash the pavement.

Being tired from our lack of sleep, we both had a Snap (short nap) to help us along.

Our daughter-in-law Melissa later texted me a Happy Birthday wish.

We both enjoyed a warm Epson Salts Foot Bath. There is just something about the Epson Salts that takes the Pain and Discomfort out of our feet. We just have to learn to do it more often.

The Weather Guesser on the “6 o’clock Local News” showed that we had only reached 48 F (9 C) for the day mainly due to the Precipitation. He also showed that we have another Seven Days of wet weather heading our way.

We had Perogies for our late supper, before watching a few episodes of “Law and Order, Special Victims”.

With Kathy’s knee bothering her, she has already gone to Bed. I hope to join her as soon s the Blog is published. Not sure what we will be doing tomorrow.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
