Corresponding and Daylight-Saving Time.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It wasn’t a total victory but at least I can call last night a draw. I managed to get nearly 4 Hours of sleep while connected between both CPAP Machines. I also managed to get little more shut eye, by just leaning back in my Recliner. That bit of an improvement had me wide awake by 7:00 this morning.

I had already checked the few RV Blogs that had posted and was busy corresponding with our friends Wayne and Sue who are presently in Quartzsite, when Kathy came out to join me. I really had to apologize to Wayne for not writing back sooner, but it seems the Cold White Weather makes me feel closed in, but it’s my doing. I’ll try doing better with all my friends.

Breakfast was Cereal with Strawberries, before taking our Coffees back to the Computers.

The temperature was only 25 F (-4 C) but there was not a Cloud in the sky anywhere. It would eventually make it back up to 37 F (3 C) for a high. Starting Monday, we are forecasted to have Eight Days in a row above the 45 F (7 C) mark with a few higher.

We shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Spinach Pizza with Olives and Mozzarella Cheese added.

I’m presently trying to use some things in the Freezer that were bought during the Holidays. That was partly why our groceries cost so much yesterday, because we had to get sides to go with them.

Supper tonight was Sauteed Asparagus, Potato Slices and Salmon Fillets. I’m getting better and only have one other meal to make using those things. After that, it is all recent purchases.

We managed to find a Murder Mystery to watch this evening.

This is a reminder to anyone that lives in an area that uses Daylight Savings Time, this is the night to turn your Clocks forward One Hour.

We’ve got to get out tomorrow.

Spring Is Coming.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

For the second night in a row, using my old CPAP Machine while trying to sleep in my Recliner, did not work out the way that I had hoped. At least the one in the Bedroom helps me sleep, but the old one seems to be keeping me awake. According to the old Machine I was only connected for Eighteen Minutes. Desperate to sleep I took the Mask off and slept for Two Hours in the Recliner, before waking enough to go back to Bed. I woke Two Hours later, still feeling tired even though I was using my new CPAP Machine.

I waited until Kathy joined me before making French Toast and Coffee for breakfast.

Though the forecast was for clear skies, the Cloud Cover kept the temperature in the upper Thirties (3 C), but with no Rain.

Checking the RV Blogs we follow, a few have taken a break from writing, while a couple of others are having technical issues with their Blogs themselves. Hopefully they can all get things straightened around soon.

For lunch we enjoyed Veggie Wraps with Mozzarella Cheese along with a couple of Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert.

Since we are hoping to get our Income Tax Returns finished soon we headed off to check our Mail at Guardian Storage. It was Empty. We’ll look at what we have and go from there.

We headed to Zehr’s grocery store to restock some of our Food Stocks. We were only there Twenty Minutes and only came out with Two Bags, but it was still $$$$.

Coming in from parking our Car, the Wind turned on us, making it feel even colder than it was.

I served a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pepperoni Pizza with extra Mozzarella Cheese for supper. Dessert was a Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Weather Guesser on the 6 o’clock Local News was happy to show some Springlike Temperatures heading our way at the beginning of next week. The big news is still the Tariff Trade War between the US and many countries around the world including Canada. If this continues, it will cause a Global Depression.

We later watched the movie, The New Mutants”. Everything seemed to happen in the last Half Hour. This is the first time we watched a Marvel Movie.

Sounded Like A Good Plan and Wash.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Setting up my old CPAP next to my Recliner sounded like a good idea, but I just could not sleep in my chair or in Bed. It was past 6:00 in the morning when I simply took the Mask and leaned back. Would you believe that I actually slept until 8:30.

Last night's forecast had mentioned a continuation of the Rain topped off with Flurries. At 1:30 I noticed that things were starting to look a little White outside. When I finally got up this morning, looking down to the parking lot, there were just puddles melting down to the drains.

I started getting things ready for breakfast, then checking out The Weather Network. Because of the bright Sunshine, it would make it above the Freezing Mark, but we wouldn’t be outside to enjoy it.

After having breakfast Kathy stripped the Bed while I sorted and treated the rest of our Laundry. It was past 10:00 by the time we made it down to the Second Floor Laundry Room. We lucked out finding the front bank of Four Washers available while the ones on the back were in use. We stopped downstairs to clean mostly Junk Mail out of our building mailbox.

We headed back to our Apartment so we could get some Blog reading in, before heading back downstairs. I mentioned before how, after the New Management Company took over our building, they wired a box in each apartment that they controlled our heat with. Most of the Winter we needed to wear sweaters to be comfortable, but today it was so hot inside we had to open our Balcony Door to cool down.

Back in the Laundry Room we were able to easily move the Four Loads of laundry into Two Dryers and start our last Three Loads to wash, before turning on the Dryers.

In the Apartment we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza with extra Pineapple and Mozzarella Cheese for lunch. By the time we finished eating, it was time to go back downstairs.

I emptied one Dryer then added the clothes from Two Washers while Kathy started folding. I did the same with the second Dryer before adding our Bed Sheets. Since both Dryers were still on the original cycle, I only needed to add Three Quarters (.75) to each for the second loads. We had everything folded and in the Apartment by 2:00.
We sat for a bit to rest our backs before putting everything away, then remaking the
Bed. For supper we enjoyed Sauteed Zucchini and Perogies before the 6 o’clock Local News came on. We had Seedless Grapes for dessert.

We later watched Matlock”, “The Rookie” and “The Pittfor entertainment.

We’ll be out and about tomorrow.

Sleepy, 149th, Change Of Weather.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Click on the pictures to enlarge.

After trying to sleep in Bed for a couple of Hours, it took napping in my Recliner before going back to Bed worked. It was actually a blessing, because I’d forgot to turn on the Alarm Clock earlier and looking at it just before 6:00 in the morning reminded me to do so. It’s a good thing because I would have been late for my appointment.

We enjoyed Strawberries on our Cereal for breakfast along with our Coffee and Juice. It was only drizzling as we headed outside, but that would later change.

While I was making my 149th Blood/Plasma Donation, Kathy was busy reading one of the Three Books she is presently checking out. The Canadian Blood Services was very busy.

By the time we left, the Rain had intensified a bit, so we stopped at Pita Pit to take advantage of their Wednesday $7.00 Special. It is so popular that it took nearly Fifteen Minutes just to make our order because there was a line up to the door when we arrived. Fifteen Minutes later we were seated enjoying our Healthy Fast Food just like everyone else coming through their door. When it was time to leave we actually had to wait for the Rain to let up a bit before making a dash for the Car.

Instead of getting drenched by going shopping, we simply headed back home. By the time we parked the Car in the lot, the Rain had totally stopped and the Sun had broken through the Clouds. In the Apartment, The Weather Network showed we had already reached a high temperature of 57 F (14 C) this afternoon. Within minutes of reading that the Clouds filled the sky again, bringing more Rain that dropped the temperature in a matter of minutes.

I was busy catching up on my Blog reading, when my eyes decided to close. They must have thought that I didn’t sleep enough last night. We shared Macaroni and Cheese for supper.

The 6 o’clock Local News showed we could be seeing a change of colour to the landscape by morning, along with an increase of Wind.

While watching “Chicago Med”, “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.”, it was sometimes hard to hear the programs over the sound of the 38 MPH Wind Gust outside.

A quick look outside showed a bit of white covering everything.

Slight Improvement and She Can Hear Me Now.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Click on the pictures to enlarge.

There wasn’t as much bouncing around last night when I only spent an Hour in my Recliner during the middle of the night. At least I woke up feeling refreshed and spent some time on the Computer, before Kathy came out to join me.

I called it Brunch, making a Veggie Omelette that would hold us long into the afternoon, because I had a Plan. (We all know not to use that word around here, because if we do, it doesn’t happen.)

As soon as Kathy returned to the Computer, she noted that the Hearing Aide that seemed to fade away early yesterday, was not even working this morning. She tried cleaning and changing the inside Pillow, but still there was no sound passing through. A quick call to Hearing Life and we were on our way out the door.

It had been Raining since we got up, but it was down to a Drizzle all the way to the Tecumseh location.

There was already a gentleman at the counter when we walked in, so we sat down just as another woman with a similar problem walked in. She and Kathy were talking about what was happening when Tina came and got Kathy’s Hearing Aide. This was the one that had been sent out and recently Replaced. It only took Ten Minutes before she returned with it working the way it should. Part of the problem was, that even though Kathy had replaced the Pillow, Tina had to replace another part that was also plugged, and Kathy had not seen it. At least now she can hear me, and I’ll be able to remind her what to look for the next time it happens.

We headed over to Guardian Storage to pick up our Mail. It looks like we might have all the Tax Papers needed to get our Returns taken care of.

We stopped at Dollarama to get some walking in while picking up some food stocks that we were running low on.

It was nearly 3:00 and Brunch had worn off, so we stopped at Wendy’s to have Chicken Wraps for Linner.

The 6 o’clock Local News was abuzz with the Tariff War that was started by Donald Trump and what the different Provinces are planning to do to fight it. This may cause us to tighten our belts, but it could be worse across the International Border. Our temperature reached 50 F (10 C) after the Drizzle stopped, though it could get worse overnight.

We had made Plans on what programs we would be watching this evening, but all the programs were changed. Checking the display on the Television showed the same as I’d found earlier but it was still different.

I’ll be setting the Alarm tonight, so we don’t sleep late in the morning.

From Threes to Twos.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Sometimes, just when you think that you’ve figured out a problem it proves you wrong. Instead of spending Three Hour stints between my Recliner and Bed like Saturday Night, last night I moved every Two Hours.

Breakfast was a mixed snack breakfast a Shared Banana, Cookies and a Yogurt Cup.

My Computer was causing me problems today, so the only thing I could do was to Restart it Four Times. That’s the number of times that I tried to sleep last night.

I dressed up a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza with extra Pineapple and Mozzarella Cheese for us to share for a late lunch.

The last Two Trailers we owned I kept track of all the extras that we added. This Trailer I somehow only logged the original investments. Then I recalled making the recent purchases through Amazon. When I brought up my Purchasing History, there was all the information I needed to add to our Expense Spreadsheet.

It took time to prepare supper, so we were already watching the 6 o’clock Local News when we sat down to enjoy our Bacon/Veggie Wraps. It appears we will be teetering between Winter and Spring weather for the next couple of weeks. The problem is with the Frozen Ground and Heavy Rain, we could see Flooding in the area.

We later watched Murdoch Mysteries”, “Rescue: HI-Surf” and “Sight Unseenfor entertainment.

Times Three But Getting Worse.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Click on the pictures to enlarge.

I was a little skeptical of whether the Sleepy-Time Tea would help me sleep last night, but I shouldn’t have been. I was in Bed by 11:30 and slept for Three Hours before having to move to my Recliner. Again, I spent another Three Hours there before heading back to Bed. After that I only rolled over once to give me another Three Hours hooked up to my CPAP Machine in Bed. When I finally opened my eyes, I felt refreshed, though I would continue to yawn my way through the remainder of the day, as a result of the Sleepy-Time Tea.

We tried to balance our meals today starting with Cereal with Strawberries for breakfast.

With the 21 F (- 6 C) temperatures and 34 MPH NW Wind Gusts, we stayed close to the Computers.

In answer to more Comments, X-rays have shown severe deterioration of the Three Lower Neck Discs, which is the cause of all this Pain.

When people are taught to be Welders they are shown how to weld mostly on benches or out in the field. When you become a Maintenance Welder, you learn all that but are expected to weld things in tight, limited spaces in order to keep production going. The Old 20 Ounce Fiberglass Shields that has to be flipped down with the nod of your head was bad enough, but for every Inch you tip your head forward, multiply that weight by Ten. Now add turning your head sideways to see the hidden targets inside the machines and there is another multiple of Ten. With time the damage only gets worse. You would think that people would be taught these dangers before you need to be put back together by a Physiotherapist. I have also used specialized pillows over the years, to which they never worked.

We simply shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Supreme Pizza for lunch.

We continued staying close to our Computers and getting caught up on some research for the remainder of the day.

After enjoying Chinese Foodwe cooked up for supper we watched a few episodes of Criminal Mindsbefore The Bourne Ultimatumcame on.

Issues have been piling up this weekend, so tomorrow will definitely be busy dealing with them.
